The birdseye maple handle is authentically oiled.
The light wood kept his colour by a special oil. There are 4 solid silver pins in the wood work to secure the joint.

The blade, 4 mm thick is hardened to 58 Hrc and slightly satinated. Het blade is made of RWL-34 PM steel. (PM = powder metalurgic)
